The Riva Crankcase Repair Thrust Plate provides a cost efficient repair option for damaged Yamaha 1.8 liter engine cases. This item can save your expensive engine cases after failures due to:

  • Driveline coupler loosening
  • PTO transfer shaft loosening
  • Nut on end driveshaft loosening

These failures can push the crankshaft forward and damage the thrust plate area inside the crankcase. As a result, the crankcase needs to be repaired or replaced. Our specially designed bronze bushing requires machining of damaged crankcase for installation. We recommend working with a qualified machinist due to the tight tolerances that must be kept.
